Behind the Business

Allavo is a dine-in or takeaway health chain restaurant that mainly sells salad bowls with fresh and stir-fried veggies, avocado (of course!), and protein. They don’t have a lot of sandwich options, but their salad bowls are various. They have a couple of locations, so this review specifically covers the branch at Seokcheon in Songpadong.

The price is mid-range from ₩10,000-20,000 depending on what add-ons, sides, and drinks you order. I included the menu that I got from Mango Plate, last updated in 2021. Most of the prices are accurate, but because of inflation, some of the item prices increased slightly by ₩1,000 or ₩500.

My Order

Souis-vida Chicken Breast Avocado (w/ extra fresh veggies)

I ordered the Souis-visa Chicken Breast Avocado bowl. It was delicious and fresh, and of course, being me, I ordered extra fresh veggies! Some of the veggies are fresh such as greens, lettuce, chickpeas, lentils, and the other veggies are stir-fried (broccoli, sweet potato, pumpkin, and mushroom).

They also add a few grains such as purple rice and quinoa. It didn’t come with any cheese (thankfully for me), but it does come with salad dressing on the side which I didn’t feel the need to use. Since they’re salad but also avocado bowls, all of them come with avocado and you can add extra separately if you’d like! They also have some pickled radish you can grab at the little self-serve bar next to the water.

An Ending Note

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This place was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend anyone check out this place if you’re staying in the Seoul area. They have a few other chains scattered around, but I believe they’re only around Seoul. If you’re vegan, they have a couple of vegan options or you could also recommend turning the meal into a vegan or vegetarian option and substitute for you.

Let me know what you think! Thank you so much for reading. xoxo
